Yesterday we lost a true legend. The one and only, The Godfather of House Music, Frankie Knuckles. This man is responsible for the existence of house music as we know it today. Inventing and pioneering the idea of four to the floor and spreading his talents far and wide, Frankie was a true inspiration. Going back to the days of Studio 54 and the parties at the Paradise Garage, playing sets with the likes of Larry Levan, FK knew true house music. In honor, here is the link to the 60 minute Boiler Room mix that he did just last year. The sexiest house music you will find just about anywhere, try not to dance by yourself when you listen to this. It’s impossible. Without you we would not have house music in our hearts. RIP Frankie!
